Fun With Fossils!! by Allen Lea and Donna Richards -- This WebQuest gets students involved in researching fossils by requiring them to make a brochure for a museum. The students will create a brochure and present it to the class. This WebQuest is appropriate for 3rd graders and should be incorporated into a unit on Fossils.

The students create a craft in groups and present them to the class. They will be assessed by their use of materials, time/effort, planning, and application skills.
Living and Nonliving WebQuest - by Megan Haynes and Melissa Green. This WebQuest is for Kindergarten students and will help them understand the difference between living and nonliving things/organisms. The students begin by going on a walk around the playground to see if they can identify living and nonliving things. They then construct a T-Chart, a Living Organisms book, and a Nonliving Organisms book. They will be assessed on their participation during the walk, the contents of their T-Chart, and the contents and quality of their Living Organisms and Nonliving Organisms book.
